1000 Doves è ciò che può assomiglia ad una ballad in Chromatica, anche se non ha niente a che vedere con Dope di ARTPOP. Anche se il ritornello è molto emotivo, la base musicale si ispira al genere house e dance.

Commento a 1000 Doves di Lady Gaga
Anche in 1000 Doves Lady Gaga tratta una tematica più introspettiva e legata ai suoi sentimenti, ma la trasforma in una maniera per ballare. Un mix perfetto di emozioni e Lady Gaga ci sa davvero fare con le parole. Anche qui, in ogni caso, c’è qualche richiamo al passato discografico della cantante, come ad esempio Gypsy contenuta in ARTPOP. Un brano delicato ma fortemente emotivo.
