Plastic Doll di Lady Gaga
In questa canzone Lady Gaga si paragona a una “bambola di plastica”, Plastic Doll, che si adatta a tutti gli stereotipi di come dovrebbe essere una popstar perfetta. Ma prova un po’ di sofferenza nel momento in cui la società disumanizza gli artisti, come se fossero delle bambole.
I temi della canzone sono simili alla traccia Do What U Want, che alludeva anche all’idea di essere “plastica” e di separare la mente dal corpo fisico.

Commento a Plastic Doll di Lady Gaga
Molti fan concorderanno con me quando dirò che questa è probabilmente la traccia più debole dell’album, nonostante il messaggio sia molto importante. Sappiamo che Lady Gaga ha cercato e cerca in tutti i modi di abbattere gli stereotipi e le etichette, anche se con gli anni il suo essere eccentrica è calato. Sicuramente possiamo considerare Plastic Doll come un ritorno al passato, direttamente a The Fame, e forse è pensata proprio per i più nostalgici. Ma dubito fortemente che Lady Gaga la eseguirà dal vivo.
