Si è conclusa con la cerimonia di premiazione condotta da Patton Oswald l’edizione 2021 del Sundance Film Festival. La regista statunitense Sian Heder ha vinto con CODA ricevendo sia il Gran Premio della Giuria che il Premio del Pubblico.

Di cosa parla Coda?

CODA è il remake del film francese La Famille Bélier (2014) e racconta la storia di Ruby, unica persona udente nella sua famiglia, posta davanti al bivio tra l’aiuto nell’attività di famiglia e la ricerca di un’altra vita. Il film è stato finanziato da Apple, con un importante investimento di 25 milioni di dollari, e ha ricevuto inoltre il Premio per la miglior regista nella sezione Drama e il Premio speciale per il cast.
