SAG Awards 2024: mercoledì mattina sono stati annunciate le nomination per la trentesima edizione degli Screen Actors Guild Awards i premi del sindacato degli attori (che spesso danno indicazioni sulla corsa all’Oscar) e non sono mancate le sorprese.

Nella cinquina troviamo, Killers of the Flower Moon, American Fiction e The Color Purple, Barbie e Oppenheimer. Non troviamo Povere Creature e questa, per noi è una sorpresa.
Miglior attore
La cinquina per il miglior attore: Bradley Cooper per Maestro, Colman Domingo (Rustin), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) e Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction), snobbato Leonardo DiCaprio è stato per la sua parte in Killers of the Flower Moon.
Attrice
Interessante la corsa per miglior attrice le nomination vanno a Annette Bening (Nyad), Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Carey Mulligan (Maestro), Margot Robbie (Barbie) e Emma Stone (Poor Things). Sarà interessante vedere se Lily Gladstone bisserà la vittoria ai Golden Globe o se la Stone avrà la meglio.
Televisione
Primo posto per Succession con cinque candidature per l’ultima stagione, seguito da Ted Lasso, The Bear e The Last of Us con quattro nomination a testa. Per la tv il premio al miglior cast vede in gara, oltre alla serie liberamente ispirata alla famiglia di Rupert Murdoch, anche The Crown, The Gilded Age, The Last of Us e The Morning Show sul fronte delle serie drammatiche, mentre l’equivalente per la commedia ha in cinquina The Bear, Ted Lasso, Only Murders in the Building, Abbott Elementary e Barry.
SAG Awards
Il sindacato detiene tra i suoi membri un numero cospicuo di votanti degli Academy Awards, quindi vale sempre la pena tenere d’occhio come si muovono i SAG per capire verso quali titoli si indirizzano poi gli Oscar.
