Cheryl è tornata lo scorso 31 maggio rilasciando il nuovo singolo “Let You“, brano in programmazione radiofonica e disponibile in tutti gli store digitali e nelle principali piattaforme streaming.
Cheryl continua con il suo progetto di ritorno dopo aver messo da parte la sua carriera musicale per quasi cinque anni. L’artista britannica è tornata all’inizio di quest’anno con il singolo “Love Made Me Do It” che ha raggiunto i primi 20 posti della classifica nel Regno Unito. La cantante ha detto in precedenza che non avrebbe più fatto musica se le canzoni e il suo seguito di fans si sarebbero interrotti. Sta ancora tentando la fortuna, questa volta con un nuovo brano chiamato “Let You”.
Vorrei iniziare con la buona notizia che “Let You” è decisamente migliore rispetto al singolo precedente. Lo ha co-scritto con la collega delle Girls Aloud, Nicola Roberts, Chiara Hunter, Daniel Boyle e i produttori di The Invisible Men. La collaborazione ha dato i suoi frutti e ne è nata una canzone pop ottimista con una produzione altalenante e un coro sottilmente euforico. Nei testi, Cheryl affronta una relazione malsana in cui lei era l’unica a farla funzionare.
