Bafta 2022: trionfo per “The Power of the Dog”

In una serata magica, sono stati consegnati i premi cinematografici 2022 della British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), sono stati conseganti alla Royal Albert Hall di Londra.

Chi ha vinto come Miglior film e regia?

Miglior regista è Jane Campion per il suo The Power of the Dog. Ennesimo riconoscimento alla regista dopo il premio appena ricevuto per i DGA AWARDS. Miglior film è ancora The Power of the Dog che si conferma come il candidato numero uno anche agli Oscar 2022.

Miglior film straniero

Il miglior film straniero è Drive my car, film che sta sbancando e che è il pricipale candidato alla vittoria all’Oscar.

E’ stata la mano di Dio

Niente da fare per E’ stata la mano di Dio di Paolo Sorrentino, che era candidato come miglior film straniero (il premio è andato a Drive My Car di Ryûsuke Hamaguchi) e per il miglior casting con Massimo Appolloni e Annamaria Sambucco (la British Academy of Film and Television Arts gli ha preferito West Side Story, in corsa con Cindy Tolan).

Miglior attore e attrice

Miglior attore è Will Smith ( Una famiglia vincente) premiato da Salma Ayek. Joanna Scanlan  “After Love vince come migliore attrice protagonista.

Non protagonista

Ariana DeBose, come da pronostici,  vince come non protagonista per West Side Story e Troy Kotsur  è il vincitore  non protagonista per l’apprezzato trionfo al Sundance 2021 “Coda”.
