Dopo aver preso parte alla versione norvegese di Idol nel 2013 dove si classificò al quinto posto, la sua carriera musicale è aumentata leggermente. Dal 2013 ad oggi le sue canzoni hanno più di 500 milioni di stream su Spotify ed è stata protagonista di un lungo tour. Ora dopo una breve pausa dalle scene musicali si riaffaccia con una nuova canzone.
Il nuovo singolo “Emotion” è stato scritto dalla stessa artista insieme a Ali Payami e Jacob Jerlström, è stato rilasciato lo scorso 12 ottobre e finalmente oggi venerdì 2 novembre è uscito anche in Italia in rotazione radiofonica per Universal Music. La morbida voce pop di Astrid S ruba questa volta lo spettacolo e prende il comando in “Emotion” senza cadere.
