Si avvicina la notte degli Oscar 2020 che si terranno domenica 9 febbraio. L’inizio delle votazioni preliminari sono iniziate il 6 dicembre e sono terminate il 10. Il 2 e il 7 gennaio 2020 ci saranno le votazioni per le nomination e il 13 gennaio avremo l’annuncio con il quadro completo dei film e dei protagonisti che si daranno battaglia per vincere l’Oscar 2020. Il 30 gennaio le votazioni per l’Oscar che termineranno il 4 febbraio poi il 9 la serata tanto attesa. Nel frattempo abbiamo già una certezza, Il Traditore di Marco Bellocchio applaudito a Cannes è fuori, escluso dalla candidatura a Miglior Film straniero. Questa scelta è una sorpresa, in molti pensavano che il Film di Bellocchio potesse farcela. Di seguito riportiamo le prime nove Shortlist :
