Dopo il loro ritorno con il brano ‘Hello My Love’, il gruppo pop dei Westlife ha pubblicato ieri venerdì 29 marzo ‘Better Man’, il secondo singolo estratto dal loro prossimo album.
Il bellissimo brano porta la firma di Ed Sheeran e Steve Mac, e ancora una volta mostra la band nella sua forma migliore. Il gruppo ha lavorato con il regista irlandese pluripremiato Lochlainn McKenna per la realizzazione del video di “Better Man”.
Con queste parole la band ha parlato del nuovo singolo: “Quando abbiamo deciso di tornare, uno dei nostri primi momenti insieme come band è stato quello di entrare nello studio di Steve Mac – ha iniziato a suonarci una canzone che aveva appena scritto per noi con Ed Sheeran, ed è stata la prima volta che abbiamo ascoltato “Better Man” – Quello è stato anche il momento esatto in cui tutti sapevamo di aver preso la decisione giusta. È una canzone che definisce veramente la vera essenza dei Westlife e sena dubbio diventerà uno di quei brani che entrerà nei cuori dei nostri fans”. quella che sappiamo diventerà un classico tra i nostri fan “.
Shane, Nicky, Mark e Kian hanno annunciato il loro ritorno alla musica nell’ottobre 2018. La band ha firmato un nuovo contratto discografico con Virgin EMI, al quale seguirà la pubblicazione di un disco nel corso di questo 2019.
I Westlife faranno il giro del Regno Unito e dell’Irlanda per la prima volta dopo sette anni in una serie di concerti a partire dal prossimo maggio con il loro “The Twenty Tour”. Celebreranno il ventesimo anniversario dalla nascita dei Westlife, il tour prenderà il via a Belfast il 25 maggio, e la serie di spettacoli dal vivo si concluderà a Dublino il 5 luglio.
